What is this "recovery capital" I keep hearing about?

Recovery is not just about staying clean and sober, it's not just about avoiding addictive behaviors either. Recovery is about all of the above as well as creating life balance and expanding the breadth and depth of internal wellness and external resources that can be drawn upon to initiate and sustain the journey toward goals, hopes and desires!

Let's break down "recovery capital" into three categories; 1) Personal Capital, 2) Social Capital, 3) Community Capital. Adding to these 'buckets" of capital equals higher levels of sustainable recovery, which equals a higher quality of living!

In my next post we'll discover more about these three categories of Recovery Capital and then how to create it!
